I have a PhD in Computational Biology from the Joint CMU-UPitt Computational Biology Program at Carnegie Mellon University and currently work as Director of Bioinformatics at the University of Chicago Genomic and Molecular Pathology Division.
As a scientist, I am intrigued by the power of next generation sequencing (NGS) in clinical diagnostics, and the world of RNA biology.
I am really passionate about Improv and dancing. During my non-work hours, I am an Improv artist and a Bollywood dancer. I have studied Improv at Second City Training Center. I also love theater, write poetry and paint, and enjoy video editing.
